Live the life you’ve imagined – art prompt abstract.

Hi friends. First I would like to share with all of you in case you haven’t heard the amazing news….That I was selected to be a part of Jessica Sporn’s amazing creative team.  I am so beyond excited and thankful for this super amazing opportunity.

Next up I would like to share a mini art journal page I created on a 6″x6″ artist tile.  And was inspired by this picture of my mom with her new friend at Keepsake Village. We had to place her there yesterday as she has dementia and it’s been very difficult for me to make this decision and do as I knew at first she wouldn’t be happy about it even though it’s in her best interest. So when one of the ladies sent me this photo today it made me “smile”. My mom is in the blue stripes.

I started out with this amazing stencil below designed by Kae Pea for StencilGirl.  It’s called Tribal Leaves.

I applied lots of color and lots of random stenciling with it.

And I just kept going with he colors. Then I applied titanium white over most of it then put the stencil down and used a baby wipe to wipe off some of the white paint

I am challenged with leaving white space so this helps me. Then after it dried I stenciled a couple more tribal leaves in teal blue, added some stenciling with the tile stencil from this months stencil club stencils. I then used A Jessica Sporn stencil for the word smile, and traced it with my black Pitt pen, and outlined it in a pink gel pen. Added some texture with a couple stamps by Seth Apter and stamped  the sentiment LIVE THE LIFE YOU’VE IMAGINED. I cut out a smiling girl I liked from a magazine and adhered get with some matte medium.

Life is short, live it to the fullest everyday. Be happy as much as you can and smile. ❤️❤️❤️
